How to choose a broadband deal
Check what reaches your home first
Not every provider or speed is available at every address. Enter your postcode above to see the deals you can get, then use the filters here to narrow them down.
Pick the speed you need
- Around 150Mbps suits most households of one to three people.
- Around 500Mbps suits busy homes with several people streaming, gaming and working online.
- 900Mbps and above is for large households, heavy uploads and future-proofing.
Look at the whole cost
A reward card or voucher can make a deal look cheaper, but it is paid separately from your bill. Check the setup cost, any price shown for the first months only, and what you will pay after the contract ends.
Contract length
Most deals last 12 or 24 months. Shorter contracts and rolling ones usually cost more each month but are easier to leave. Leaving early can mean a charge.
Frequently asked questions
Do I pay more if I use your links?
No. The price is the same as on the provider’s own site. We may earn a commission when you sign up.
Will my price go up during the contract?
Many providers raise prices every year. Check the price rise terms on the provider’s page before you sign up. Our broadband price rises guide explains how these work.
Why do some deals say a price for the first months?
Some providers charge a lower price for the first months and a higher one after. The note under the price shows what we know about this.
Why do the speeds differ at my address?
The speed you can get depends on the network at your address. The postcode checker shows what is available to you.
How often are the deals updated?
The date at the top of the page shows when we last checked. Offers can end or change quickly, so the provider’s page has the final say.
