NOW is Sky’s budget brand. It uses the same Openreach network and the same Sky Broadband Hub router as Sky, with a shorter list of packages and streaming TV through NOW memberships instead of a Sky box.
Our simple pick: NOW Full Fibre 100. It is NOW’s cheapest package, it is faster than the part-fibre Superfast option at a lower price, and 100Mb comfortably covers a family streaming in HD.

Who NOW suits
- People who want Sky’s entertainment channels through a streaming membership rather than a long TV contract.
- Homes that want a simple Sky-run service at a lower monthly price than Sky’s own packages at similar speeds.
- Customers who value support. NOW has a good reputation for customer service.
Who should look elsewhere
- Busy homes on full fibre. NOW’s fastest package is 300Mb, while Sky and most rivals offer 500Mb to gigabit speeds.
- Anyone who wants a short contract. NOW currently offers 24-month contracts only.
- Buyers who want a fixed future price set out in the contract.
Price rises and your right to leave
Like Sky, NOW doesn’t fix its future rises in the contract in pounds and pence; its terms say prices may change. If NOW raises your price beyond what you agreed at sign-up, Ofcom rules give you at least a month’s notice and the right to leave without an exit fee. Our price rise guide explains how this works.
Router and Wi-Fi
NOW offers the Sky Broadband Hub as standard, with an optional upgrade to the Wi-Fi 6 Sky WiFi Max hub, which comes with a promise of strong Wi-Fi in every room.
TV and calls
NOW’s TV add-on includes Sky Essential TV channels and HBO Max with adverts. Sky Sports and Sky Cinema are available as NOW memberships, including short passes. Pay-as-you-go calls are included, with call packages as add-ons.
Social tariff
NOW Broadband Basics is available to people on Universal Credit and other eligible benefits. See our social tariff guide.
