YouFibre: who it suits

YouFibre is the broadband brand of Netomnia, one of the fastest-growing full fibre networks in the UK. It does three things that few big providers match: the upload speed is the same as the download speed, the price is fixed for the whole contract, and every package comes with a Wi-Fi 7 router.

Netomnia’s network reaches several million homes, mostly in towns and suburbs that the big networks reached later. Check your address, as coverage is patchy within towns.

Our simple pick: You 1000. In YouFibre’s October offer it costs only slightly more than the entry package and gives you 900Mb in both directions, with no rise for two years.

No set-up fee. October offer prices, available to 31 October 2026, checked on 16 October 2026. After the minimum term, packages move to YouFibre’s higher list price on a rolling basis.

Who YouFibre suits

  • Anyone who wants a fixed price for the whole contract.
  • Home workers, creators and gamers who need a fast upload.
  • Busy households that want gigabit speed for the price of a mid-range package elsewhere.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Homes outside Netomnia’s network.
  • Anyone who wants a TV bundle. YouFibre is broadband first, with phone and mesh Wi-Fi as add-ons.
  • People who want an automatic mobile back-up connection, which YouFibre doesn’t include.

Price after the contract

YouFibre fixes its price during the minimum term, but the list price it moves to afterwards is much higher. Put your end date in your calendar and renew or switch before it arrives.

Ownership news

Netomnia’s owner agreed a deal with nexfibre, the network company linked to Virgin Media O2. In October 2026 the Competition and Markets Authority provisionally found that the deal may harm wholesale broadband competition. A final decision is due later; nothing changes for YouFibre customers today.

Router and Wi-Fi

YouFibre offers a Wi-Fi 7 router on every package. Its YouMesh add-on supplies extra mesh units for larger homes.

Social tariff

YouFibre’s You 50 social tariff offers symmetrical full fibre at a reduced price. See our social tariff guide.
