GoFibre is an Edinburgh-based network building full fibre in rural Scotland and northern England, including Fife, Angus, Aberdeenshire, the Scottish Borders, North Northumberland and Teesdale. GoFibre reported 135,000 premises covered in September 2026, with more coming through its Project Gigabit contracts.
In 2026 GoFibre upgraded its packages so that the upload speed is the same as the download speed, which is rare for rural broadband.
Our simple pick: GoFibre 300. It is a big step up from rural part fibre, and the price gap to the 150Mb package is small.
