Stay Fast Guarantee
BT guarantees a minimum download speed of 100Mbps to your Smart Hub 3. If your speed falls below this, BT will try to fix it. If BT cannot fix a fault within its control in 30 days, you can leave without paying an early cancellation fee.
Router
New customers get the BT Smart Hub 3, which supports Wi-Fi 6 and connects multiple devices. If your home has rooms with weak Wi-Fi signals, you can add Complete Wi-Fi Plus to extend coverage and improve speeds.
Digital Voice
BT Digital Voice is available if you need a home phone. It works through your broadband connection, so a traditional landline phone service is not needed. You can plug your existing compatible phone into the Smart Hub 3 and usually keep your current number. BT offers different call plans.
BT TV
You can combine BT Full Fibre 150 with a BT TV package and get either the BT TV Box Pro or BT TV Box Edge, depending on the package. With 150Mbps, you can enjoy 4K TV while other family members browse, stream or work online.
BT Full Fibre 150 for gaming
BT Full Fibre 150 is fast enough for popular online games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, EA Sports FC and Rocket League. Online gaming does not need very high download speeds, but low latency is important for quick responses.
Two or three people can play online games while someone else streams TV. However, downloading a large game takes longer than on faster plans. A 100GB game download could take about 90 minutes at full speed.
Alternatives to consider
- For homes with five or six heavy internet users, BT Full Fibre 300 or Full Fibre 500 provides more bandwidth for streaming, gaming and large downloads.
- If you regularly upload large videos or work files, BT Full Fibre 500 or Full Fibre 900 offers faster upload speeds.
- Plusnet Full Fibre 145, Vodafone Full Fibre 150 and Sky Full Fibre 150 are also worth comparing before choosing BT.
